Booking & Payment Policy

PAYMENT

• Full payment on booking - 100% of the hire fee is due at the time of booking. Your date is not confirmed until payment is received.
• Refunds (non-refundable) - All payments are non-refundable in all circumstances.
• Transfers (14+ days notice) - With more than 14 days notice your payment can be moved to an alternative date.

All payments must be made by the methods specified at the time of booking. 

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£).

All payments are non-refundable.

Founding Member Rates: Our current introductory rates are available for a limited time only. Any confirmed bookings will always be honoured at the rate agreed at the time of booking.

SESSION TIMES & AVAILABILITY

The Shift Studio is available to hire across three sessions per day, seven days a week. Evening sessions are available Monday to Friday only.

• Morning: 9:00am – 1:00pm, available 7 days a week
• Afternoon: 2:00pm – 6:00pm, available 7 days a week
• Evening: 6:30pm – 9:30pm, available Monday to Friday only

Please note: Weekend bookings are available for morning and afternoon sessions only. Evening sessions are not available on Saturdays or Sundays.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• All payments are non-refundable - in all circumstances, regardless of when you cancel.
• Cancellations with more than 14 days notice - your payment may be transferred to an alternative available date, subject to availability. Each booking may only be transferred once.
• Cancellations within 14 days of your hire date - no transfer or refund will be given. The full hire fee is forfeited.
• No shows on the day - the full hire fee is forfeited with no refund or transfer.

Cancellations are effective from the date and time we receive your written notification.

We recommend taking out your own cancellation or event insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending your booking.

TRANSFERRING YOUR BOOKING

If you need to change your booking date, we are happy to transfer your payment to an alternative available date, subject to the following conditions:

• Transfer requests must be made in writing to info@theshiftstudiosobo.co.uk with a minimum of 14 days notice before your original hire date
• Transfers are subject to availability -  we cannot guarantee your preferred alternative date will be free
• Each booking may only be transferred once - a second request to change date cannot be accommodated and no refund will be given
• Transfer requests made within 14 days of your hire date cannot be accommodated and the full hire fee will be forfeited

CANCELLATION BY THE SHIFT STUDIO

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and will offer you the choice of a full refund of all monies paid, or an alternative date at no extra charge, subject to availability.

Our liability to you in the event of cancellation by us is limited to a full refund of monies paid.

We are not responsible for any consequential losses such as travel costs, equipment hire or lost income.

HOW TO CANCEL OR TRANSFER

All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing. Please do not use social media or phone calls to cancel - written notification protects both you and us.

YOUR AGREEMENT

By making payment in full and completing a booking with The Shift Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this booking and payment policy in full. 

This policy forms part of your hire agreement with Nurtured Shift Studio Ltd (Company Registration No. 17147738).
